Network alert normalization

LibreNMS alerts often carry device identity, hostnames, hardware, location, rules and state fields. IncidentRelay keeps those values as labels and maps firing or recovery state into the incident lifecycle.

Useful labels

  • hostname, device_id and ip for device identity.
  • rule for grouping by LibreNMS alert rule.
  • location for routing by site or datacenter.
  • team for ownership overrides when needed.

Recovery correlation

For clean recovery behavior, configure LibreNMS to send a stable alert identity such as uid or id for firing and recovery events.
